Exhibition Proposals
The Georgetown University Art Galleries invite exhibition proposals for consideration in our gallery spaces. Proposals should include a short synopsis of exhibition; drafted checklist; resume/CV and bio for all artists and curators; image and/or video files of work samples; and sample budgets or fee structures. Submit your proposal via email to GUartgalleries@georgetown.edu.
Proposals are reviewed by the Exhibitions Committee, comprised of Georgetown University faculty, staff, and established art professionals, which meets two times per year. Please note that the exhibition schedule is typically programmed two years in advance, so review timelines are ongoing and may vary. Approved proposals will be developed in collaboration with Georgetown University Art Galleries staff, and guest curators will sign a formal contract outlining budgets, schedules, and installation plans.
All Georgetown students majoring or minoring in Studio Art will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in the gallery spaces; these exhibitions will be arranged by the Art Galleries and studio art professors.
